Coaches Comments:

Tarynn is a top LIBERO/DS that has specialized in this position from a very young age of 11/12 due to having been challenged with a bone growth issue that causes her joints to be painful when using her limbs over head. Some people may see this as a disadvantage but as someone who has watched her yes, struggle through when the rest of her peers didn’t have such limiting factors on them, she has yet to show any weakness in her game. She is a smaller player so it’s likely she wouldn’t play another position anyways and so it has to me been a benefit to be trained for so many more years than most libero players and have the knowledge she does for that position. When she was 13 she was playing on my U17s/18 team and finished in the top 5 of our division so she has been on teams that have been at the top since she was 13. Although she is quiet and humble off the court, it would be surprising if you didn’t hear her on the court fighting for every point as if she had played all three contacts herself. She is a must for every team, especially if you plan to win a championship. She has the potential to play National Team and with the right post secondary coach, I am sure she will do it.
